Switching to English

Thank you for reading this blog!:) I really appreciate that you are taking the time to read my adventures and experiences. Maybe they will come handy to you one day.

The reason I switched to blogging in English is because I met a very wise girl. I met her when I was in this cute little restaurant in Bali. She already ate her meal and started a conversation with me. We kept talking until I was finished too. During the conversation we talked (amongst other things) about my blog and she asked if it was in Dutch. So I said it was and she gave me a tip to maybe try blogging in English. At first I was resistent, because I’m a perfectionist and blogging in English won’t be as perfect as in Dutch, or it takes a lot more time. What she said a

that, changed my mind. She said; when you try, you wil learn faster. You can do it paragrapgh by paragraph and you will see yourself improve very soon until it becomes as easy as blogging in Dutch. And in English, many more people can enjoy your writing. So thank you Layla :D.

You can probably imagine bali already amazed me so much! It’s not only a beautiful, jaw dropping place, it also has the most kind and loving residents! Maybe it’s just me, but even though I’m far away from home. This place already feels like a home too.

In the one day I’ve been here, I already met new people and friends. Locals and travelers. Both happy to be in Bali. The ambiance in Bali is so gentle. Everyone is loving and willing to help one and other. It’s really different from what I’m used to back in The Netherlands. Over there people are mostly friendly, but not that welcoming as they are here. So I’m really happy to call Bali ‘home’ for another two days.
